Care Center offers a quiet, rural setting for your pet's vacation stay.
Country Kennel Pet Care Center was established in 1975 as a family business
and remains so today. Esther Mathia and her husband Horst fulfilled a lifelong
dream when they started their business. In 1976 Esther's son Mark started
helping out part-time with training and kennel duties and eventually came on
board full time in 1978. In 1987 Mark acquired ownership of the operation and
remains today as an active owner/operator. Esther, though retired, still lives
on-site and enjoys visiting with clients, staff, and the boarding pets daily.
With a staff of 6 full-time and 3 part-time employees, our furry guests enjoy lots
of individual attention. Our low employee turnover rate (our staff has been with
us from 3 to 26 years) helps insure you and your pet will likely see a familiar
face every time you visit.
Our services include:
All-breed dog and cat boarding.
Training from puppy to advanced obedience classes, both private and in-kennel.
Pet cremation done individually with return of cremains to owner.
